Kim Crisler is the Owner of Gifty Idea Greeting Cards & Such! Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. Kim is the proud person to Lucy, a lovely and sweet Jack Russell Terrier and the original doggie inspiration behind Gifty Idea (TM), a line of dog (& now cat) inspired greeting cards, gift tags, magnets, t-shirts and more; and to Oscar Meyer, a devilish little long haired dachshund who chews through couch pillows, t-shirts, blankets, and any toy within reach! This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors.
