This Controlflex hub is RoHS and REACH compliant and manufactured by Schmidt Kupplung in Germany. The use of a keyway prevents the coupling from slipping on the shaft if over torqued. The use of one insert allows for higher misalignment capabilities than double insert styles. It is compact and can fit in smaller envelopes than equivalent single beam or double insert Controlflex styles.
