This single universal joint is made of a block, two pins, and two yokes. This Ruland machinable bore single friction bearing universal joint has a 0.370" outer diameter and 1.750" length. It is best suited for applications requiring a short length and high torque (when compared to double universal joints of an equivalent OD). It is made from high grade alloy steel for high torque capabilities. The user can add a boot to protect the joint from unwanted contaminants and increase service life. The design allows the user to put a bore size and/or geometry of their choice into each yoke or affix it directly to a surface by welding or some other method of their choice. This single friction bearing universal joint is manufactured in the USA. These components are manufactured to tight tolerances using proprietary processes that ensure smooth operation and high misalignment accommodation up to 45°, which is a significant improvement over commodity style single universal joints.
