It is compact and can fit in smaller envelopes than equivalent single beam or double insert Controlflex styles. It has a balanced design and can accommodate speeds of up to 15000 RPM. This clamp style single insert type hub requires the user to mate it with one other hub and one acetal insert. This Controlflex hub is RoHS and REACH compliant and manufactured by Schmidt Kupplung in Germany. The use of one insert allows for higher misalignment capabilities than double insert styles.
