Slide the slip coupling on to the pipe covering the leak point or position the slip coupling so that it either pipe is fully inserted into the fitting. Simply thread the included demount clips on either end of the fitting until they resist further tightening. Finally, turning counter-clockwise, remove the threaded demount clips which will allow the stainless steel grip teeth to bite the pipe and provide a leak free connection.
