MPI’s Grate Magnets are are designed to remove medium and small-size ferrous tramp metal contaminants from dry, granular free-flowing product streams in gravity-fed vertical chutes, hoppers, housings, or bins. Grate Magnets are easy to install and clean. on contact with ½” ball, 5.0 lbs. The product stream flows through a row of 1” diameter magnetic tubes, located on 2” centers, allowing 1” of space between each tube. with a ¼” ball and 10,000 gauss (peak) on the surface of the tube.
