About The BFVAC NC - BUTTERFLY VALVE, ACTUATED / CLAMP ENDS / NORMALLY CLOSED - 1 1/2", Commonly referred to as "normally closed", these quarter-turn stainless steel sanitary Butterfly valves use a disc mounted on a rotating spring-loaded shaft to close and control flow. These valves are assembled with an actuator using air to open.
