Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. Belinda has always loved art and design and wanted to be a graphic designer starting at a young age. She graduated from Lyndon State College with a BA in graphic design and has been working as a full time and freelance designer for the past 10 years. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. Belinda Aldrich grew up in South Africa and immigrated with her family to Vermont in 1994. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. Belinda is a sports fanatic, playing soccer, snowboarding, and surfing in the cold waters of Maine.
