Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. In the second, she is more concerned with color, surface texture, and movement. Broadly speaking, she has two styles of painting: the first she describes as sculptural, focusing on form and mass in often muted colors. In both, composition is crucial. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. Addinall's work is in constant interplay with the world in which she lives, and she considers herself "very much a part of the continuum of Western art". Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors.
