Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. I genuinely enjoy illustrating fun, happy things as much as I enjoy designing dark, creepy things. I create artwork in two very different styles: light and dark, which is an unusual mix. The result of my work is generally a hybrid blend of both. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. This makes sense, because my wife says that I am humorous and quirky, and sometimes a bit odd. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Artist: Flyland Designs Subject: Animals Style: Nautical Product Type: Gallery-Wrapped Canvas Art This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a green and yellow fish over water. My art style tends to be humorous and quirky, and sometimes a bit odd. Im a freelance artist and creative director living in the State College, Bellefonte area in Pennsylvania, with my wife, Lesha and our two children, Michael and Isabella.
