We recommend phenolic wheels for many applications, however, if you need more floor protection, a cushioned ride, or a quiet rolling wheel, we recommend you look at the thermoplastic rubber wheel or polyurethane wheels.Phenolic wheels are made using phenolic resin mixed with macerated canvas which yields a high capacity and high impact wheel. Phenolic wheels give you similar capacities to steel wheels, however, they provide better floor protection, slightly quieter rolling, do not rust, & are more economically priced.
